Julie Lunn, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer in Practical and Social Theology, Nazarene Theological College

Dr Lunn completed her Ph.D. thesis entitled ‘”Simply resign’d and lost in God”: Resignation and Sanctification in the hymns of Charles Wesley’, in 2016.  A revised version of the thesis has been published in the Routledge Methodist Studies Series, entitled The Theology of Sanctification and Resignation in Charles Wesley’s Hymns.

Dr Lunn is currently on the committee of BIAPT (The British and Irish Association for Practical Theology), a member of the Charles Wesley Society, and of the British Association of Iconographers. She is an ordained minister in the Methodist Church.
