David McCulloch, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer in Pastoral Theology and Mission, Nazarene Theological College

In his capacity as missionary to Central America (1976-85), Dr McCulloch served as Lecturer in Pastoral Theology at Instituto Theologico Nazareno in Guatemala City. Dr McCulloch has worked in numerous capacities in the community including as a Chaplaincy Team Member at the Manchester YMCA and as a Member on the Board of Advisors at the City Light Trust in Salford. He completed his Ph.D. thesis at the University of Glasgow under the title: 'Developing an Oslo Model of Theological Education by Distance Learning'. He was the Principal of NTC from 2004-2012.

 Current research interests include liberation theologies, majority world social and theological issues, missional theology, theological education, preaching and communication. He preaches regularly in the Manchester area.
